EnglishThe soul of a city is in its markets. It’s exactly from here, that a special day – dedicated to flavours and to Roman tradition – will begin.
The first appointment is in Campo de’ Fiori, an ancient square of Rome which is famous for its nightlife. During the day, this square hosts a great and colorful market, one of the most ancient of the Capital. This market was born thanks to the “vignarole”, i.e the ladies that from the countryside used to come to the city to wash their vegetables and then to sell them in this square. The market has grown over the years and besides the fruit and vegetables stands, also the meat, fish and flower stands have been added. You will immerse yourself in this vibrant atmosphere that has never changed since ancient times: you will walk around accompanied by our chef, choosing products you prefer and buying them as a real Roman does.
The next stop of the activity is Tiber Island, a little isle located in the middle of the Tiber river. Here, you will have a perfectly equipped kitchen where the team building challenge will begin.
Divided into two teams, you will prepare a typical menu composed of a pasta dish and a dessert following the advices and the secrets given from our chef. At the end of the challenge, there will be a winner team and then all the participants will eat together the menu they prepared.
The activity can be customizedwith aprons, gadgets and prizes for the guests. Furthermore, we can enrich it with a welcome aperitif, the choice of the menu to cook for the challenge and a glass of prosecco for the toast.
